An award winning newspaper and magazine journalist, Annabel has 20 years experience writing, styling and editing the beauty pages of newspaper supplements and glossy magazines. With a BA HONs degree in Fashion Studies, she began her career as a fashion intern at Harpers Bazaar in the minimalist 1990's, going on to become Beauty Editor at Marie Claire Health & Beauty, Beauty Director of Eve magazine and Grazia.
She currently holds the position of Beauty Editor at Large at The Telegraph where she writes a fortnightly beauty column, Beauty Brains, in The Telegraph magazine on Saturday as well as a monthly newspaper column on Ageless Beauty with Head of Fashion, Lisa Armstrong. She also writes features for The Telegraph's Sunday supplement magazine, Stella, in addition to writing online articles and directing beauty shoots and covers for Stella.
As a freelance journalist she has contributed to titles such as The Daily Mail, Observer, The Times, Elle, Marie Claire and The Mirror, among others.
With her extensive industry experience, Annabel consults for luxury and mass market beauty brands, advising them on global product development as well as writing press releases and white papers. She was launch editor of Beautyrecommended.com, an online magazine for P&G, for five years.
Annabel has experience presenting to audiences at London Fashion Week and talking on panel discussions for brands and at editorial festivals such as Stella Live. She has won of a number of journalism awards.
